

Since linen is my favourite fabric and it never stops to amuse me, I thought I will share some interesting facts about linen that you didn't know!Â

Linen is a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant. Flax plan is low maintenance and can grow in poor soil. Linen fabric natural colours include ivory, ecru, tan and grey. Also, every part of the flax plant can be used to create a worthwhile product, therefore nothing is wasted!Â

However, standard cotton shirt uses 2700 litres based on the European Confederation of Linen and Hemp. What a difference, right? So linen is much more eco friendly to our lovely planet Earth.Â

Linen that we use is high quality Lithuanian linen. Lithuania is located in Baltic sea đ region of Europe.Â
